How do you pick out the restaurant recommendations for each member? |
|
We have designed a recommendation engine where restaurant suggestions are generated based on your restaurant ratings and other members who have similar ratings and tastes as you. The more restaurant ratings you provide, the better the recommendations become.

Why are the restaurant ratings from the other members not displayed? |
|
We believe that everybody has very different tastes, and the average ratings of the general public do not accurately depict whether you will like the restaurant or not. Instead, your ratings are crossed referenced with other members with similar tastes as you, and then recommendations, tailored to your interests, are generated for you.

I am a restaurant owner, how do I add my restaurant to the listing? |

Please contact us via our contact form and we will provide additional information on the steps of adding to our restaurant list. Please note that there are restrictions and rules on what kind restaurants we add. Thank you.

What kind of restaurants do you list on EatinDenver? |
|
We list non-franchised restaurants that are generally less known to the general public. We want to bring awareness to the hole-in-the-wall type restaurants where often times, delicious dishes can be found at great prices.

How are the average restaurant prices determined? |
|
The prices of only the main courses on the menu are averaged together to determine the final restaurant average price. The appetizers, drinks, desserts, etc. are ignored since they generally skew the average price. For instance, if a restaurant had a lot of cheap drinks and desserts, it will look cheaper than a restaurant with similar prices, but less number of drinks and desserts.

Help, directions are not showing up on restaurant map for my address! |
|
If you do not see the blue line for directions, you have most likely entered an address with an apartment number. Try entering it without the apartment info. If it still does not work, go to Google Maps and enter your address. If a suggestion is returned, then use the suggested address.

Where did you get the icons for this site? |
|
Some of the icons are from the Silk Icons at FamFamFam (a great collection), while others were created from scratch.
